🗺️ Itinerary

Day 1: Agadir– Targa N'Tochka

Agadir– Targa N’Tochka 

Pick-up from your hotel or a designated meeting point and transfer to Targa n’Touchka (approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes).
Settle in and enjoy an overnight stay with a local host family.

Targa n’Touchka – Anzgarn
6 hours of hiking | +950 m / -150 m

A beautiful stage heading south, beginning with a long ascent followed by a descent to the village of Imzi. The trail then enters a magnificent gorge before climbing again and passing through Tagdichte n’Talaght, finally descending to the village of Anzgarn.

Overnight stay with a local host family.

Anzgarn – Aït Iften
6 hours of hiking | +900 m / -900 m

Descend into the valley before crossing several traditional Amazigh villages, including Ighil Iblaghne and Aguerd Ouzro. After crossing the Takoucht River and a mountain pass, arrive in Aït Iften, a charming village nestled at the foot of Jebel Lkest.

In the afternoon, enjoy a round-trip transfer to Imhiln to visit the historic Agadir Imhiln, a traditional fortified communal granary that once served as a secure storehouse for the local community.

Overnight stay with a local host family in Aït Iften.

Aït Iften – Jebel Lkest Summit – Tagdicht
6–7 hours of hiking | +1,000 m / -950 m

Today’s highlight is the ascent of Jebel Lkest (2,359 m), the highest peak in the western Anti-Atlas. Reaching the summit rewards you with breathtaking 360° panoramic views over the rugged mountains, deep valleys, and surrounding landscapes.

After taking in the scenery, descend along mountain trails to the traditional village of Tagdicht.

Overnight stay with a local host family.

Tagdicht – Painted Rocks
6–7 hours of hiking

Hike through the spectacular granite landscapes of the Anti-Atlas, following scenic trails to the famous Painted Rocks, an extraordinary open-air art installation where massive granite boulders were transformed into colorful works of art. Surrounded by dramatic rock formations and unspoiled nature, this unique site offers an unforgettable setting for the evening.

Overnight in a bivouac beneath the stars.

Aït Mansour – Ameln Valley – Tafraoute

After breakfast, transfer to the stunning Aït Mansour Valley, one of the most beautiful oases in the Anti-Atlas. Enjoy a leisurely walk through its lush palm groves and traditional Amazigh villages, followed by lunch in the heart of the valley.

In the afternoon, continue to the picturesque Ameln Valley, where you’ll visit a traditional Amazigh house in the village of Oumsnat, offering a fascinating insight into the region’s architectural heritage and local way of life.

Transfer to Tafraoute for your final evening.

Overnight in Tafraoute.

Tafraoute – Agadir

After breakfast, transfer to Agadir Airport or to a designated drop-off point in Agadir, marking the end of your trekking adventure.

To secure your place, a fixed deposit of €180 per person is required at the time of booking.

Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit.

The remaining balance will be calculated according to the final price applicable to the group size and is payable in cash upon arrival.

Once we have received your deposit, we will send you your booking confirmation together with the corresponding invoice.

To travel to Morocco, you must hold a passport valid for at least six months from the date of entry into the country.

Citizens of many countries can enter Morocco without a visa for short tourist stays. However, visa requirements vary depending on your nationality.

We recommend checking the latest entry requirements with the Moroccan embassy or consulate in your country, or consulting your Ministry of Foreign Affairs before travelling.

Travel insurance is not included in the price of this trek.

All participants are required to have comprehensive travel insurance covering, at a minimum:

  • Medical expenses
  • Emergency evacuation and repatriation
  • Trip cancellation or interruption
  • Personal accident
  • Loss, theft or damage to luggage and personal belongings

We strongly recommend arranging your travel insurance before your departure.

Basic medical assistance is included throughout the trek to help facilitate access to healthcare if needed.

This service includes:

  • Referral to the nearest clinic or hospital
  • A doctor’s visit if required
  • Ambulance or medical transport in case of emergency
  • Return to your accommodation after hospitalization
  • Assistance with hospital admission
  • Emergency medical evacuation to your country of residence (coverage up to 10,000 MAD)
