Itinerary
Day 1 – Tangier / Chefchaouen
Arriving and meeting at Tangier Airport (Ibn Battouta)
Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival, meet your driver/guide and begin your journey.
Transfer to Chefchaouen (the Blue City), 3 hours / 120 km
Enjoy a scenic drive through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, known for its peaceful atmosphere and stunning blue medina.
First night in Chefchaouen
Day 2 – Chefchaouen / Akchour / Chefchaouen
Morning: Visit of the Blue City
Explore the picturesque medina of Chefchaouen, with its narrow blue alleys, colorful markets, and breathtaking mountain views.
After lunch: Drive to Akchour (1 hour / 30 km)
Head into the Rif Mountains to discover a lush natural area.
Hike in Akchour, explore the waterfalls
Walk along forest trails and enjoy the tranquil waterfalls of Akchour.
Drive back to the hotel in Chefchaouen
Day 3 – Chefchaouen / Volubilis / Fes
Drive to Fes (4h40min / 265 km)
Depart Chefchaouen and begin your journey inland.

Drive to Midelt (3h30min / 198 km), scenic road
Journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains, experiencing cedar forests, lakes, and Berber villages.

A peaceful mountain town nicknamed “Little Switzerland.”
Stay the night in Midelt
Day 6 – Midelt / Merzouga
Drive to Merzouga desert (4 hours / 263 km)
Continue south toward the Sahara Desert.
Visit Khamlia for Gnawa music
Experience the rhythms and culture of the Gnawa people.
Camel ride to our luxury camp in Merzouga, free time to see the sunset from the highest dune
Day 7 – Merzouga / Todra Gorge
Sunrise early in the morning (optional)
Catch the spectacular sunrise over the sand dunes.

Travel through the Valley of Roses to reach the traditional village of Boutaghrar.

Day 10 – Boutaghrar / Ouarzazate / Aït Ben Haddou / Marrakech
Drive from Boutaghrar to Marrakech via Ouarzazate and Aït Ben Haddou (6 hours / 330 km)
Travel across the High Atlas Mountains.

Explore this UNESCO-listed ksar, used in films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

Day 13 – Casablanca / Rabat
Transfer to Rabat (1 hour drive)
After breakfast, travel to Rabat, the capital of Morocco.
Explore Rabat
Visit Rabat’s key landmarks:
- Kasbah of the Udayas– A tranquil, blue-and-white walled kasbah by the ocean.
- Hassan Tower– The unfinished minaret of a grand mosque that was never completed.
- Mausoleum of Mohammed V– A beautifully decorated royal tomb.
- Royal Palace– Explore the exterior and gardens of the official residence of the King.

Day 14 – Rabat / Tangier
Transfer to tangier via car, 3hours/247KM

The price per person depends on the number of participants:
- 2 people: €3170 pp
- 3 to 6 people: €2800 pp
SUPPLEMENTS:

ESTIMATED EXPENSES AT DESTINATION: €600 – €900
The estimated expenses at destination refer to meals and drinks not specified in the “what’s included” section. They do not include pre-trip expenses or personal costs at the destination such as: tips, coffee, alcoholic beverages, unscheduled activities, special requests, souvenirs, etc.
PAYMENT TERMS:
The payment for the trip is divided into three parts:
Deposit to reserve your spot: 30% of the total trip price
This first payment secures your trip dates. It is made via bank transfer.Second payment:
An additional 40% of the total price must be paid no later than 30 calendar days before the trip start date, via bank transfer.Final payment:
The remaining 30% is paid in cash on the first day of the trip to the trip coordinator.
If you confirm your participation within 30 days of the trip start date, the first and second payments (70% total) must be made together in a single bank transfer.

Accommodation is arranged in hotels or Riads.

Equipment List for the hikes
- Trekking boots or sturdy hiking shoes — suitable for rough and rocky terrain
- Layered clothing — including warm layers for cold mornings/evenings and lighter clothes for hot days
- Sun protection — high SPF sunscreen, sunglasses, wide-brimmed hat or cap
- Small daypack — to carry water, snacks, and personal items during hikes
- Light rain jacket or windbreaker — for unpredictable mountain weather
- Highly recomended: walking poles for the hikings
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in the trip and cannot be provided by us.
We strongly recommend that all participants take out personal travel insurance that covers medical assistance, cancellations, baggage loss, and any unexpected incidents.
Please ensure your policy is valid for Morocco and covers the full duration of your journey.

- To travel to Morocco, you will only need a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into the country.
- Citizens of countries such as the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, most European Union countries (including Spain,Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium), Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Mexico, and Russia generally do not require a visa for stays of up to 90 days. However, visa policies may change, so it is recommended to consult the official Moroccan consulate or embassy, or your country’s foreign affairs office for the latest information.
